Trauma-Informed Organizational Toolkit

Developed by the National Center on Family Homelessness in collaboration with Sister Witness International, Trauma Center in Brooklyn, MA, and primarily funded by Daniel’s Fund, the National Child Traumatic Stress Network, the Homelessness Resource Center, and W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Toolkit developed to assist centers in understanding traumatic exposure experienced by homeless families in order to provide quality care and respond empathically to trauma survivors. Included in this toolkit are the Trauma-Informed Organizational Self Assessment, User’s Guide, and a How To Manual for Creating Organizational Change. This toolkit is available in PDF format, requiring Adobe Reader.
