It provides an overall healthy work environment score and scores for each of the six essential standards. This screening tool evaluates a work environment based on each of the standards, but does not diagnose specific challenges within a standard.

Toolkit for ICUs to Improve the Safety and Quality of Patient Care

Developed by the U.S. Department of Defense Military Health System, the Debriefs Toolkit provides guidelines for facilitating retrospective team events to share view of performance and promote opportunities for continuous learning and process improvement. The toolkit is available as several PDFs, Word files, and Windows Media Videos (WMVs), requiring Adobe Reader, Microsoft Word, and Windows Media Player, respectively.

Patient Safety Program - Patient Falls Reduction Toolkit

Developed by the U.S. Department of Defense Military Health System, the Patient Falls Reduction Toolkit addresses four aspects of a Patient Falls Reduction Program; assessment and reassessment of patients at risk for falls, interventions to prevent falls, patient and family education, and data collection supporting continuous improvement.
