The dress code for this event is business casual. In addition, the weather at Sundance Resort can be cold and snowy in March. Historical weather temperatures have ranged between 20-50 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with temperatures in the 20s-30s in the evening. Please plan accordingly with warmer layers.
Sundance Resort is a collection of multiple buildings and you will have to walk outside to reach some locations. Plan for comfortable or weatherproof shoes (in case of snow) and a warm jacket, particularly for evening meals.
We will have coat racks available for you to place items during sessions and meals.
We recommend athletic shoes, comfortable and warm clothes, a hat, and sunglasses or sunscreen during the daytime as the sun is more direct at higher elevations.
While Uber or Lyft drivers may be an option, please keep in mind that snow is possible in the mountains and the roads to the ski resorts may be restricted to 4x4 vehicles. Sundance Resort recommends Snow Country Limo as a reliable option to book in advance. Or, while there is no option to request a 4x4 car through Uber or Lyft, most XL options are SUVs and should be equipped with 4-wheel drive.
On Friday, we’ll have a shuttle to transport everyone to MX Headquarters in Lehi, Utah. For those joining us at MX HQ, please plan to arrange your travel from our Lehi office to the airport.
MX covers the cost of your Fintech Festival pass, meals, and your choice of skiing or the mountain zip tour on Thursday afternoon. If you haven’t already, please be sure to reserve your activity in our pre-event survey here.
Hit the slopes alongside Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley with a complimentary lift ticket for 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Sundance Resort.
If you are purchasing your ski rentals, there is no need to make reservations in advance. Simply stop by Sundance Mountain Outfitters (located at No. 27 on the map) to get sized for your rentals.
Please note that rentals are not included with your pass.
Enjoy a scenic chair lift ride up the Outlaw Express lift followed by a 15-minute snowshoe hike to Sundance’s Demo Span. Upon completing the Demo, you’ll enjoy over 3,870 feet of zipping. You can learn more about the tour here.
